Pinwheel cards for Humane Society

About three months ago, I volunteered to make cards for an animal shelter auction in Crystal Lake. I decided to focus on pinwheels since the auction is happening in the Spring. Making mini pinwheels isn't easy due to the small folds.

I don't expect it to make a lot of money but I plan on suggesting that they pair with other items to make a basket of items.

And here I am...

Well here I am slowly becoming a part of the blogging world.

Name: Susana
Location: Southwest Suburbs of Chicago, IL
Age: You can guess but I guarantee you won't hit the right age. Love my family genes!
Occupation: By day an administrative assistant, by night, an avid learner of a lot of different things
Status: Married to Chris... no children... not yet anyway.
Hobbies: For the last couple of years, crafting.

I decided to start a blog for three main reasons: health related issues, crafting ideas & projects, and random thoughts that I feel I need to talk about whenever the mood strikes. The last year has been eye-opening in a lot of different ways and after some thought I realized I wanted to get myself out there and talk about thoughts and ideas that interest or concern me.

*Disclaimer: I am not a professional anything so don't quote me on anything to a medical professional.*

I have to say that describing myself is a hard thing to do and you will know more about me as I take on this new venture because everything I will be writing will interest or affect me in some way.

Two points to keep in mind:
1. This blog will constantly change looks because I can be very picky about design. It took me three years to figure out the perfect picture for huge wall in my living room. Chris thought I was cray cray but it looks utterly fantastic with my dark red walls!
2. My views on ideas, people, and issues change because I gathered more information on that subject that I feel I may have been wrong to think that way in the past.

P.S. I have a tendency to create lists, use ellipses (...) and say "so" more often than needed. I apologize in advance.

So on that note... talk to you all soon!
